It was a cold Tuesday afternoon when we decided to take some photos in the 8th district of Budapest which was for a long time considered the disgrace of the capital with its ruined buildings, dirty streets, populated by people living under extremely poor conditions. We thought the situation hasn't changed a lot but we were really surprised to find new modern houses in the area. The old buildings could also be beautiful if somebody cared. We don't understand why the rehabilitation process is so slow when the district has a central location...We want answers :)
